The Windar Renovables company is participating in this project aimed at developing those lines considered strategic in technological subjects in order to address existing challenges in fields such as the design of structures, the development of advanced manufacturing processes and the integration of 4.0 enabling technologies in a sector in constant change.
It has several internal lines of action, of which we can highlight the one related to industrial sensor technology, with the aim of continuing to develop in the areas of digitalisation and Industry 4.0.
*L1: ADVANCED STRUCTURAL DESIGN RESEARCH FOR THE WIND ENERGY INDUSTRY
* L2: RESEARCH FOR THE OPTIMISATION OF MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
* L3: RESEARCH IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES
These lines are expected to be developed through joint work with technology centres and regional engineering and technology service companies. Focusing on research areas such as new materials and their characterisation, advanced manufacturing processes, data processing systems based on artificial intelligence. It is hoped to generate technological attraction that will enable the consolidation of a technological and industrial pole in the renewable energy sector.
As a result, it is expected to promote a business model transition towards a strategic approach based on technology as a growth vector.
The Windar Technology & Innovation R&D centre works closely with regional, national and international technology and research centres, such as Idonial, Tecnalia, Tekniker, Eurecat, Aimen, Circe, Polo del Acero, Faen, Metaindustry, Fraunhofer, TWI and Rise.
