For some time now we have been observing the continuous crises, alerts, warnings and calls to action from the scientific and technological community on a global scale, due to the existing fragility in the social and climatic balance of our planet.

To address this call to action, businesses are obliged to make a firm commitment to adopt measures that facilitate just change in the current economic model, in order to prevent future impacts and crises on communities, ecosystems and economies in the future.

The transition to this new model of sustainable development must be socially and economically beneficial for all parties and the engine for the creation of quality jobs and health and wellbeing environments for people and the environment.

To support this just transition model, we have addressed a sustainable development agenda that is implemented through our Corporate Sustainability Strategy, which involves adapting to change in our current operations and activities to lay the foundations for a new environmental, social and economic (ESG) contract of inclusive prosperity.

As a framework for the development of our sustainability strategy, we are committed to integrating into our business model the core principles of the Global Compact and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as mechanisms for change and development of our global sustainability agenda.
