Yesterday, Windar received a visit at its facilities in Aviles about twenty participants in the project “Clipper” in which FAEN participates, and in which they are working during these days representatives of seven European regions.
The CLIPPER project aims to improve the support to maritime industries to face the challenges of the European Strategy “Blue Growth” (Blue Growth) on energy transition. The general objective of the project is to improve public policies in support of SMEs of maritime and naval activity, in particular, to encourage business strategies focused on the diversification and differentiation of these.
In the case of Asturias, the idea is to try to promote diversification towards the emerging marine renewable energy market.
After a meeting at the ITMA installations where a presentation of the company was carried out, visits were made to the TAE3 and TAE4 centers, where the participants learned first-hand about our productive processes and finished at the port of Avilés with a sample of the works that are made for Merkur.
