The President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, José Luis Bonet, together with the Secretary of State for Trade, Xiana Méndez, visited the facilities of the company Windar renovables, chaired by Orlando Alonso, during the conference “The transformation of the Spanish economy: digitalisation and sustainability as levers”.
The visit, which was also attended by Enrique Fernández, Minister of Industry of the Government of Asturias, Rosana Prada, Director General of Industry and Mariví Monteserín, Mayoress of Avilés, among others, took place last Monday afternoon at the facilities that the company of the Daniel Alonso Group SL has located in the Business Park of the Principality of Asturias (P.E.P.A).
It has one of the largest workshops in the world for the manufacture of wind towers, both onshore and offshore.
The complete process was also explained, from the reception of the raw material to the final delivery of the towers. At Windar Renovables we want to reinforce our leadership and be a company that is committed to digitalisation, sustainability and internalisation.
