The primary school was inaugurated by Windar India on July 26 in the presence of the Gujarat State Minister, local authorities and politicians, invited guests and Windar India CEO Mr. K. Bharathy, among other attendees.
This new infrastructure will boost the environment and productivity of the teaching staff, while improving the quality of education and attendance of the approximately 50 students enrolled at the school.
Chandrapura Primary School was chosen by Windar India because of the urgency to renovate and increase its infrastructure.
Windar India carried out a complete renovation of the facilities. For this purpose, additional new study rooms, a canteen with kitchen, as well as a playground for all children were built.
Drinking water facilities and a new toilet block were also built. Access to the school was renovated with a new perimeter wall and electricity poles with LED lights, along with a larger and more suitable entrance gate. The green building concept was ensured with the implementation of a rainwater harvesting system.
Finally, the usual openingn rituals were performed and a commemorative plaque was unveiled in memory of this day.
