On February 6, TQM-2019 ceremony was held at Park Hyatt, Chennai, where SGRE awarded Windar India with a trophy, in recognition of the efforts and support in the implementation of TQM in our plant, in the goal of SGRE to reach the Deming Prize.
Mr. K. Bharathy, CEO of Windar Renewable Energy received the trophy from Mr. Ramesh Kymal, CMD SGRE and in the presence of Y.Washio (TQM consultant from Japan), as well as other managers of SGRE and reiterated the commitment of his plant at Halol. He also thanked the great work of the Windar India team in this regard, to ensure the long-term success of the efforts carried out.
The origin of this process implemented at the Windar factory in India, started when the plant was chosen by SGRE as one of its key partners in the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM).
Since then, Windar India has been reaching the necessary milestones, such as, the training and awareness in TQM of all its employees and workers, the allocation of 5S zones, the KAIZEN implementation, or training of QCC and QIT teams among others.
