The Representative of Industry of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Mr. Issac Pola visited last weekend the facilities in Avilés of Windar renovables – a company of the Grupo Daniel Alonso – that is dedicated to the manufacture of towers and offshore foundations for the wind sector both land and offshore.
The Representative of Industry, said that Asturian companies and institutions are ready to compete in the wind market and has set as an example and referring to follow Windar renovables and the Grupo Daniel Alonso to ensure the industrial leadership of Asturias during his visit to the Company facilities in Avilés.
In addition, the Representative of Industry has highlighted that the wind energy is an emerging activity currently and growing worldwide and that Asturian companies, such as the case of Windar offer numerous strengths to be able to compete in that context thanks to the provision of a basic steel and metallurgical industry.
