This is the conclusion of the first Open Day for GDA employees, held this weekend in Avilés and Gijón.
The Open Day began on Saturday afternoon at the Tadarsa Eólica plant in Avilés, from 16.00 to 20.00 h, where more than 350 people, including employees and family members, according to initial data, visited the facility to learn about the factory and the manufacturing processes of the wind towers, during a tour of approximately 20 minutes.
Initial expectations were exceeded, due to the attendance of many workers who had not initially registered, which increased the waiting time for access to the site.
The youngest children enjoyed the waiting time, accessing the cabin of the KALMAR crane, which was prepared so that they could take photographs and get to know what one of these impressive cranes is like.
The day continued on Sunday morning in Gijón, at the Dacero facilities, where more than 60 people, in several groups at the same time, toured the site due to the large number of people and the queues that formed.
The aim of the day, planned on the occasion of World Day for Safety at Work, was to bring the company closer to the families of the company, so that they could get to know where and how our employees work, but also to make them aware of the risks to which they are subjected.
