IBERDROLA’s trust in JV NAVANTIA-WINDAR

Last Tuesday, representatives of WINDAR attended in London the presentation of the documentary entitled ‘United by the Wind’ made by IBERDROLA, just when the construction process of its ‘East Anglia One’ wind farm exceeds 50% of the jackets installed.

The Director of Marine Operations of Iberdrola Mr. Alvaro Martínez, praised the technical capacity and quality of the work done by WINDAR, both in this installation and in the process of building previous projects such as ‘Wikinger’. “We always want to have the best and we want Windar to continue with us,” Álvaro Martínez insisted.

The ‘EA1’ wind farm is located 50 km off the coast of the English county of Suffolk. The project foresees the location of 102 wind turbines of which 51 have already been installed, and will have a capacity of 714 MW to supply electricity to around 630,000 British homes.
