At Windar India, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an essential pillar of our business strategy, aimed at generating a positive and lasting impact on the communities where we operate.
To date, we have promoted important initiatives in the field of education, including the construction of four rural schools, one of which is an English-language school. Thanks to these modern and safe facilities, enrolment rates have increased significantly, and students are achieving outstanding academic results.
Encouraged by this success, we have decided to expand the scope of our CSR to rural healthcare. On 27 August 2025, we held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new primary healthcare centre in the village of Kanjari, presided over by Mr K. Bharahhy, Managing Director of Windar India, together with department heads, local government officials and members of the community.
The project will replace a structure that is over 30 years old with a new modern building, designed in accordance with the quality standards of the Government of India.
This initiative represents a new step in our commitment to sustainable development, extending our impact from education to community health.
