Each of these components is 15 metres high, 6.5 metres in diameter and weighs 240 tonnes, which are currently stored in the port of Mukran.

Around 800 new jobs have been created during the manufacture of these structures and some 30 suppliers from the north of Spain have been involved.

With a total capacity of 476MW:

✅ Baltic Eagle will comprise 50 wind turbines ✅ Enough to meet the demand of 475,000 households and supply clean energy ✅ Avoid the emission of almost 1M CO2 tn/annually.

This is the second offshore wind farm promoted by Iberdrola in Germany after the commissioning of the Wikinger offshore wind farm (350 MW) for which Windar previously manufactured 29 jacket substructures and is developing the 300 MW “Windanker” project (21 TPs), to be completed in 2026.
