On 28 May 2025, Windar Renovables celebrated in Szczecin (Poland) the groundbreaking ceremony for one of its most ambitious industrial facilities: an XXL tower factory for offshore wind farms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to start production in 2026.
The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Poland, local authorities, as well as representatives of customers, suppliers and strategic allies, who accompanied Windar at this key moment in its international expansion.
The new plant will be a major boost to industrial development in northern Poland, and is in line with Windar’s strong commitment to creating a strong, innovative and sustainable European supply chain, capable of keeping pace with the accelerated growth expected in the offshore wind market in the coming years.
The strategic decision to choose Szczecin as a location is not only due to its excellent maritime and logistical connections, but also to its industrial potential and local talent. This new industrial project reinforces Windar’s position as a global benchmark in solutions for the offshore wind sector, providing innovation, production capacity and added value to a key industry for the energy transition.
