We are convinced that it also has a big future in Russia&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new factory will increase production capacity in the Rostov region, using new technology and knowledge from all over the world. Windar Renovables, which is leading the project with a 51% share in WRS, has found the best partners in Rusnano and Severstal, and therefore we expect a lot to come of this union in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"blob:https:\/\/windar-renovables.com\/e9446197-5db7-4478-b40a-8eac2a16ac4f\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anatoly Chubais, president of Rusnano MC, said: &#8220;The launch of the first steel tower production plant, one of the key components of the wind turbine, is an historic event for Russian energy and mechanical engineering. This makes us confident that Russia will maintain its status as an international energy power for generations to come. Our project shows that a high-tech cluster has been established in the country, including renewable energy generation, power-plant engineering, science, and education. I must also mention that getting this production off the ground would not have been possible without the combined efforts of a technological investor and a leading high-tech player in the steel industry, as well as the measures taken by the Government of the Russian Federation to support the industry.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the left: Pelayo Berjano (Industrial Director of WRS Towers), Orlando Alonso (president of Windar)&#13;\n&#13;\nAlexander Shevelev, managing director of Severstal: &#8220;Entering new markets for complex, high-tech products often requires the collaboration of several partners. The opening of the first Russian factory to produce wind turbine towers is the result of such a collaboration amongst three leaders within their respective markets &#8211; Severstal, Rusnano, and Windar Renovables. Our involvement in this project is perfectly aligned with our current marketing strategy, which focuses on working closely with clients in order to provide individualised solutions. Our goal is to make Severstal a future leader in the steel industry. And the future belongs to companies who can deliver unique solutions to their clients based on a better understanding of their needs.  Within the framework of this association, we will provide a product specifically designed for our partners: the steel plates required for the production of the towers.
