Production is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Once fully operational, the facility will be capable of manufacturing up to 200 onshore wind turbine towers annually, equivalent to more than 1,000 MW of clean energy fed into the grid. The plant will primarily serve the Polish and German markets, responding to the growing demand for wind energy infrastructure across Central Europe.

The facility will include four production halls, a raw materials warehouse, an outdoor storage area, and an office module. The production lines will enable manufacturing of tower sections up to 40 meters in length, weighing up to 80 tons, and with a diameter of up to 6.5 meters.

As Pelayo Berjano, CEO of Windar Polska, emphasizes: “Poland is clearly a key logistics hub for supplying wind turbine components across the Central European market and a cornerstone of Windar’s growth roadmap. Against a challenging global backdrop, expanding manufacturing capacity within Europe remains a priority for our company. We welcome our collaboration with CTPark Legnica in delivering this new facility.”

“The project for Windar Onshore aligns with CTP’s strategy of developing advanced industrial ecosystems that go beyond the scope of standard warehouse facilities. The Legnica development requires the delivery of a highly complex building, featuring uniquely specified production halls and extensive storage infrastructure. The project is built on two pillars – the park’s strategic location, which facilitates expansion toward the German market, and mutual trust. A partnership‑driven approach and a deep understanding of heavy manufacturing allowed us to design infrastructure that will become a vital link in the European renewable energy supply chain,” explains Krzysztof Moryson, Head of Construction at CTP Poland.

The investment will also serve as an important driver of economic growth in the region, creating up to 300 new jobs and engaging local suppliers. CTPark Legnica, where the Windar factory will be opened, is being developed within the Legnica Special Economic Zone – one of the key institutions supporting investment and entrepreneurship in southwestern Poland.

“The project delivered for Windar Onshore was among the most demanding processes in the industrial real estate segment. It required tailoring the designed facility to the specifics of heavy manufacturing and the technological parameters associated with producing large-scale components for the wind energy sector. At the same time, it was an investment with a distinctly international character – both in terms of the investor’s ownership structure and the target markets served by the plant. We are pleased to have supported Windar Onshore in a process that marks another step in the company’s expansion in Europe and simultaneously strengthens Poland’s position as an important link in the European supply chain for the renewable energy industry,” says Igor Roguski, Partner at SQM Advisory.

“In projects of this kind, it is crucial to precisely tailor the infrastructure to the specifics of the production process and the tenant’s development plans. The Legnica project aligns with CTP’s consistent expansion of its portfolio in Poland with advanced industrial and warehousing facilities, enabling tenants to increase their production capacity, grow within the same location, and plan their long-term presence in the region,” explains Sandra Winiarska, Senior Business Developer at CTP Poland.

About WINDAR RENOVABLES:

Windar Renovables is a global leader in the clean and sustainable energy sector through the manufacturing of towers for both onshore and offshore wind farms as well as foundations for the offshore wind industry.
