On the occasion of the ‘World Energy Saving Day’ Windar Renovables makes its employees aware that energy is a vital resource and we have to take our share of awareness and responsibility in doing so.

We know that the war in Ukraine has shown us how heavily dependent we are on certain fuels such as NATURAL GAS, and we see how it is affecting everyone around the world, not only economically but also from a social and environmental point of view.

Therefore, ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES such as renewable energies, are experiencing a growth aimed at ensuring the ENERGY INDEPENDENCE OF COUNTRIES, as well as, at the same time fighting CLIMATE CHANGE.

With this vision, we must be aware of how important it will be now and in the future to SAVE ENERGY. Energy as we currently use it is a DEPLETING RESOURCE and at the same time, its scarcity is DRIVING UP THE COST OF PRODUCING IT.

At WINDAR we are committed to adopting initiatives aimed at reducing consumption in our facilities, such as:

– Keeping the facilities in suitable conditions, making the most of natural light.
– Use energy-saving light bulbs, preferably LED.
– Controlling the use of heating and air conditioning.
– Unplug appliances and machines that do not require continuous connection.
– Switch off computers that are not in use.
– Disconnect devices or chargers that are not in use.

A SMALL CONTRIBUTION FROM EVERY PERSON IS A BIG SAVING FOR THE PLANET IT’S JUST A MATTER OF COMMITMENT #EnergySavingDay
